With the second quarter of 2024 behind us, we've dived into the performance of the top virtual fitness applications on iOS in the United States. Using data from Sensor Tower, we can see how these apps have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Smart Fit App experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting at 877K in the first week of April and ending at 483K in the last week of June. Weekly active users also saw a gradual decline from 4.27M to 4.15M over the quarter.
Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter, on the other hand, had a fluctuating revenue pattern with its peak at 56K in the second week of April and dipping to 18K by the end of June. Downloads decreased from 1.03M to 440K, while active users initially dipped but saw a rise to 4.65M in the final week.
For JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit, revenue showed a mixed trend with a high of 1.33M in mid-April, dropping to 670K towards the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 412K to 331K. Weekly active users saw an overall increase from 1.62M to 2.10M.
Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear Lite) maintained a consistent download count, with a notable peak at 424K in the second week of June. As for active users, the app saw a significant increase from 472K to 638K throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Strava: Run, Bike, Hike showed impressive revenue growth, starting at 1.98M and reaching 1.79M by the end of June. Downloads saw minor fluctuations but ended the quarter on a strong note with 256K. Weekly active users peaked at 5.97M in late April and closed the quarter with 5.83M.
